Resolution of Tie Cases
If two or more candidates have the same normalized scores in the Computer Based Examination (CBE), the tie will be broken using the following steps, applied one by one until the tie is resolved:
(a) Compare the total marks obtained in the Computer Based Examination.
(b) Compare the marks scored in Part-A of the Computer Based Examination.
(c) Compare the marks scored in Part-B of the Computer Based Examination.
(d) Compare the marks scored in Part-C of the Computer Based Examination.
(e) Consider the candidates’ dates of birth, giving preference to the older candidate.
(f) If the tie still persists, the candidate whose name comes first in alphabetical order will be ranked higher.
