Railway ALP Vacancy 2025 Zone-wise

As per the official notification, a total of 9,970 vacancies have been announced for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post across various regional Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Of these, 4,116 positions are allocated for the General category, while the remaining vacancies are distributed among SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen categories. What is the Eligibility Criteria for RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Post?

To be eligible for appointment as Assistant Loco Pilot post in Indian Railways across zones, candidates should satisfy the following criteria:

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of India
• Age Limit: 18-30 years (age relaxation provided to reserved category candidates.
• Qualification: Passed Matriculation with ITI Diploma in relevant field

RRB ALP Online Form and Application Fee

Candidates can apply for 9970 ALP vacancies only through online mode, and no offline mode is available. Candidates can make correction in their applications forms on the Zonal RRB website from 22 May 2025. Candidates have to pay an application fee which is given below:

• SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC): Rs. 250
• Other Candidates (except above categories): Rs. 500
