The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the RRB ALP CBAT Exam Date 2025 on its website. Commonly referred to as the ALP Psycho Test, this Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) is a crucial step in the selection process for filling 18,799 Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies. Only candidates who have cleared the CBT 2 exam are eligible to appear for this stage. It’s important to note that the CBAT is qualifying in nature, and candidates must pass it to move forward in the recruitment process.
RRB ALP CBAT Exam Date 2025 Out
The RRB ALP CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) is the third stage in the recruitment process for Assistant Loco Pilot positions. Candidates who clear this stage will proceed to the Document Verification round. As per CEN 01/2024, the RRB ALP CBAT Exam 2025 is scheduled for 15th July 2025. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has also released the RRB ALP CBAT Admit Card 2025 along with the exam city intimation slip for the upcoming test.
According to the notice released by RRB, the RRB ALP CBAT Exam 2025 will consist of 226 questions to be completed within a total duration of 73 minutes.
What is RRB ALP CBAT Exam 2025?
The RRB ALP CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test), commonly known as the Psycho Test, is the third stage in the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot selection process. This stage is exclusively for candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT 2 exam. The test is designed to evaluate key skills essential for train driving, such as mental alertness, decision-making, attention, memory, and speed. There are a total of five different tests, as outlined in the table below.
