Punjab and Sind LBO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Age Limit (1/3/2026)

The minimum age is 20 years and the maximum is 30 years. Candidates must have been born between 02 March 1996 and 01 March 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation as per category:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years
  • OBC (non-creamy layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (with at least 5 years military service): 5 years

Qualification

  • A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university by the Government of India is required.
  • The candidate must hold a valid mark sheet or degree certificate at the time of registration.
  • Note: If the university awards CGPA/OGPA instead of a percentage, it must be converted to a percentage and mentioned in the application.

Local Language Proficiency

  • Candidate must be proficient in the language they are applying for (including reading, writing, and understanding).
  • A language test will be conducted, but those who have studied the specified local language as a subject in their 10th or 12th standard are exempted from this test

Work Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of branch experience as an officer in any SCB or RRB listed in the 2nd Schedule of the RBI.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
