JSSC Excise Constable Syllabus 2026

JSSC Excise Constable Selection Process

Candidates who are applying for the JSSC Excise Constable 2026 will have to go through the following assessment stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test
2. Written Exam
3. Medical Test

JSSC Excise Constable Exam Pattern

Paper 1: Language

1. There shall be a total of 120 questions and each question carries 3 marks
2. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer marked
3. Candidates are required to score 30% marks in order to appear for Paper 2 and 3.

Paper 2: Regional Tribal Language:

1. There shall be 100 questions of 3 marks each.
2. The total Duration is 120 minutes.
3. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
4. Candidates are required to score 30% marks to qualify for the test.
5. Candidates can choose any one of the languages mentioned here to appear for the exam

Paper 3:  General Knowledge: 

1. The total questions are 120 of 3 marks each.
2. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
3. Duration is 120 minutes.

Jharkhand Excise Constable Physical Efficiency Test:

In the Physical Efficiency Test, Candidates will be assessed on the basis of running speed in a limited time.

• For Men: 10 km in 60 mins.
• For Women: 4 km in 40 mins.
