SSC GD Physical Test 2025: GD Constable PET/PST Date and Criteria

After the Computer Based Test is conducted, the next step in SSC GD Selection process is the SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test to assess applicants’ physical capabilities. After that, a Medical Examination is conducted to check their overall suitability for the Constable job profile.

Soon after the SSC GD Result 2025 is released, candidates can check whether they will appear for SSC CG Physical Test 2025 or not. It is expected that the SSC GD Constable PET/PST will be conducted in June-July 2025. Check physical requirements for both male and female candidates below.

SSC GD Physical Test 2025

The SSC GD Physical Test consists of measurement of height, weight, and chest (for males only), and physical tasks such running for both male and female. It is only qualifying in nature and those who qualify will appear for Medical Examination. The physical test is expected to be held within a few days after the result is released.

SSC GD Physical Requirement 2025

The purpose of the qualifying SSC GD Physical Standard Test is to determine whether the candidates who have been shortlisted match the required physical requirements, which include chest measures, weight, and height. SSC GD Physical Eligibility: Height

Candidates must be at least the required height to pass the SSC GD Constable exam. It differs according to the category and gender of the candidate.

SSC GD Physical Endurance Test

The commission will conduct the SSC GD Physical Endurance Test following the PST test. Male and female candidates experience it differently. This section contains information about the SSC GD Physical Test, including the several tasks that applicants need to complete to move on to the next round.

SSC GD Document Verification is the final stage of the recruitment process after candidates clear the Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST). During this stage, shortlisted candidates must present original documents and their photocopies for verification. These typically include:
