The announcement of the RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 marks beginning of the examination process for Non Technical Popular Categories (Advt. No. CEN 05/2024). The exam date has been notified for Graduate level posts and as per that the Computer Based Test 1 is scheduled to be conducted from 5 to 23 June 2025 (for 15 days). RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 Out
The RRB NTPC 2025 notification drew a massive 1.2 crore applications. Of these, about 58.4 lakh are vying for graduate-level posts-including Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist, Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisor, and Station Master.
The schedule for the Computer Based Test 1 (CBT-1) has now been announced. The examination will be held across all major RRB zones, including Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu and Kashmir (Srinagar), Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, and Thiruvananthapuram.

The CBT 1 Exam will be conducted in 3 shifts and candidates have to reach at the exam centre as per their reporting time mentioned on the admit card. The shift wise exam timing and reporting time is given below.

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Duration
The exam duration for the RRB NTPC Computer Based Test (CBT) Stage 1 is 1 hour 30 minutes (or 90 minutes). During this time, candidates will need to answer all the questions in the exam, but there is no sectional timing. This means that candidates are free to allocate their time across different sections as they see fit. The absence of sectional timing allows candidates to manage their time based on their strengths and weaknesses.

RRB NTPC Selection Process
The RRB NTPC selection process consists of multiple stages: Computer Based Test (CBT) 1, followed by CBT 2, a typing skill test (for applicable posts), and document verification. Candidates must qualify each stage to proceed further.
RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The RRB NTPC Exam will be held exclusively in online mode and will be available in 15 regional languages, depending on the RRB Zone. These languages include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
The exam includes 100 MCQ type questions carrying 1 mark each and questions will be asked from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The subject-wise question is as follows:
- General Awareness: 40 Qs
- Mathematics: 30 Qs
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 Qs.

Last Minute Preparation Tips for RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam 2025
Only few days are left for the RRB NTPC Graduate Level Examination and candidates should make most of these remaining days by following the simple tips and important instructions for the exam that are given below
- As there is no time left to pick any new topic for preparation, candidates must solve as many RRB NTPC Mock Test as they can. This will help boosting their confidence.
- Revise your notes, if any, and go through all the formulas for Maths subject.
- On the exam day, take your admit card along with a valid photo ID and passport-size photograph.
- Reach the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam starts.
- Do not bring any prohibited items such as expensive jewelry, bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, paper chits, etc.
- Carefully check your seat inside the exam centre and quietly sit there. In case you face any difficulty finding it, then ask the staff present there.
- Cooperate with the staff during identity verification.
- When the exam starts, do not get overwhelmed on seeing the questions, just take deep breath and read the questions.
- Do not spend much time on a single question and move on to other if you are not sure about the answer.
- After the exam is over, leave your seat only when asked.
