About RRB ALP 2026

The Assistant Loco Pilot falls under Pay Level 2 of the 7th Pay Commission, and basic salary is Rs. 19,900/-. The main job role of an ALP is to assist the Loco Pilot in operating locomotives, monitor signals, track conditions, ensure passenger and freight train safety, and handle minor technical issues during operation.
