NCERT Syllabus 2026 Out

The NCERT recruitment 2026 focuses on general aptitude and domain-specific technical knowledge for the various non-teaching posts. A total of 173 vacancies are to be filled, making this a great opportunity for interested and eligible candidates. For most of the posts listed, the same Computer-Based Test(CBT) follows:

  • Section A: General subjects such as English, Comprehension, General Awareness, and Current Affairs
  • Section B: Domain-specific or technical knowledge relevant to the post

NCERT Exam Pattern 2026 for Assistant Engineer Grade-A (Level 10)

The exam pattern for the Assistant Engineer Grade A involves a CBT comprising 200 marks in total: 150 marks from the CBT and 50 marks from the Interview. The marking scheme for Section A involves 0.50 marks for each correct answer, and for Section B, it is 1 mark for each correct answer. There also exists a negative marking of 1/4th deducted for each incorrect answer.

The selection for this post comprises just a CBT, comprising 150 marks in total, with section A of 50 questions for 50 marks, and section B of 100 questions for 100 marks. Each question carries one mark, and a negative marking of -0.25 for each incorrect answer. A total time duration of 2.5 hours.

The CBT is divided into two sections, with Section A consisting of 50 questions for 50 marks, and Section B consisting of 100 questions with 100 marks. The total time duration is 2.5 Hours, with negative marking of 1/4th marks.
