India Post Gramin Dak Sevak Eligibility Criteria 2026

The India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment for 2026 has specific eligibility criteria that candidates must meet.
Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age, with age relaxations available for reserved categories. A 10th standard pass certificate with Mathematics and English as subjects from a recognized board is mandatory. India Post GDS Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the post of GDS under the India Post Recruitment 2026 is purely on a merit basis. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in their 10th board examinations. Higher marks imply a higher chance of selection. There is no written examination.
Shortlisted candidates will have to go through a document verification round.

Adequate Means of Livelihood

Once selected, candidates must meet this condition within 30 days before their engagement.
