CBSE Superintendent Marks Calculation using the Answer Key
To calculate the marks for the CBSE Superintendent Exam, candidates should award themselves 3 marks for each correct answer and deduct 1 mark for every incorrect response. For example, if a candidate gets 60 answers right and 10 wrong, the score from correct answers would be 60 × 3 = 180 marks, and the deduction for incorrect answers would be 10 × 1 = 10 marks. This results in a final score of 180 − 10 = 170 marks. This marking scheme is designed to fairly assess performance by rewarding accuracy and minimizing the impact of guesswork.
