On March 17, 2024, the APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam was held. The APPSC Group 1 Exam Key was also made available on the commission’s official website. Those who clear the preliminary test will be eligible to take part in the APPSC Group 1 Mains exam in 2024. Regarding the APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam date, there has been no update from the authorities. The APPSC Group 1 exam will take place at various centres throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The provincial civil services officers are recruited through the APPSC Group 1 exam, which the APPSC conducts. The APPSC Group 1 exam consists of three stages in total.

A screening test that is conducted offline throughout Andhra Pradesh is the preliminary exam for APPSC Group 1. It assists in filtering out those who aren’t serious about the test. Usually one week before the exam, the prelim admit card is sent out. The APPSC Group 1 final merit list will not take the preliminary exam scores into account. Candidates who pass the prelims must also clear the APPSC Group 1 main exam to finish the entire examination process. The main exam is conducted in a traditional offline format. The marks obtained in the main exam will contribute to the merit list of APPSC Group 1. The main exam consists of seven written papers, with the English and Telugu papers qualifying in nature— their marks won’t affect the merit list.
