HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria 2023: Age Limit

The age limit for HPPSC HPAS is between 21 to 35 years. The age will be calculated as on 1st January of the year in which the candidate is appearing for the exam. However, there are certain age relaxations that are provided for candidates belonging to certain categories which include

  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories are given relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit.

HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria 2023: Educational Qualification

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution which can be in any discipline. Moreover, the candidate who is appearing in the final year’s paper of the graduation is also eligible to apply for the exam though he/she will have to produce the proof of passing the graduation exam at the time of the Personality Test/Interview.

HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria 2023: Nationality

To be eligible for HPPSC HPAS, the candidate must be

  • A citizen of India
  • The candidate can also be a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India though he must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

HPPSC HPAS Eligibility Criteria 2023: Physical Standards

There are certain physical standards that the candidate needs to fulfill in order to be eligible for HPPSC HPAS. The candidate should be physically fit and should not have any physical disabilities that can hinder the performance of administrative duties.
