The APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam 2024 took place on 17 March and the APPSC Group 1 Exam Key also released on the official website of APPSC. Applicants who successfully clear the prelims exam will receive invitations to participate in the APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam 2024. There is no update on the APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam date by the authority. The APPSC Group 1 exam will be held at the various exam centre across Andhra Pradesh state.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process 2024
The provincial civil services officers are recruited through the APPSC Group 1 exam, which the APPSC conducts. The APPSC Group 1 exam consists of three stages in total.
- Prelims Exam: This stage is used to weed out non-serious candidates.
- Mains Exam: It is the merit-deciding round.
- Interview: It checks the thorough knowledge of the candidates of their expertise subject.

APPSC Group 1 Prelims Exam Pattern
The prelims exam for APPSC Group 1 is a screening test held offline across Andhra Pradesh. It helps filter out candidates who are not serious about the exam. The admit card for the prelims is usually issued a week before the exam. The marks from the prelims won’t be considered in the final merit list for APPSC Group 1. APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates who pass the prelims must also clear the APPSC Group 1 main exam to finish the entire examination process. The main exam is conducted in a traditional offline format. The marks obtained in the main exam will contribute to the merit list of APPSC Group 1. The main exam consists of seven written papers, with the English and Telugu papers qualifying in nature— their marks won’t affect the merit list.
