RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 2023: The RPSC RAS exam is administered by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) in to fill Group A and Group B openings in the state administrative structure. The Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Examination is the official name for the RAS Exam. RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria

The RAS/RTS test, commonly known as the RPSC RAS, is held by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission to fill Group A and Group B positions. RTS stands for Rajasthan Taxation Service while RAS stands for Rajasthan Administrative Service. RPSC RAS Age Limit 2023

The Maximum age limit means the candidate must not have attained that age on the prescribed date for the particular recruitment year. For RAS Exam, the age limit will be in accordance with the official notification for the year 2023. Expected Age Limit 2023 will be:

  • RPSC RAS Minimum Age is 21 years (as on 01/01/2023)
  • RPSC RAS Maximum Age is 40 years (as on 01/01/2023)

For non-gazette employees, the age limit is:

  • RPSC RAS Minimum Age – 25 years (as on 01/01/2023)
  • RPSC RAS Maximum Age – 45 years (as on 01/01/2023)

RPSC RAS Age Limit Relaxation

As per the RPSC recruitment process, there are provisions of age relaxation for different categories in RPSC RAS Exam for the year 2023.

SC/ST/OBC Female Candidates/EWS Females (Rajasthan) 10 years
Female Candidates (General Category) 5 years
Widow Candidates/Divorced Women No Upper Age Limit
Person With Disability in General Category 10 years
Person With Disability – OBC 13 years
Person With Disability – SC/ST 15 years

The RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 2023 also include relaxation in upper age limit for certain sections such as

  1. Ex-Servicemen
  2. Ex-Prisoners
  3. For persons serving in Rajasthan state administration in a substantive capacity

RPSC RAS Educational Qualification 2023

As per the official notification, the candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the RPSC RAS Prelims Exam 2023 although they need to submit proof of passing before the Mains stage. The RPSC RAS Educational Qualification asks a candidate to be a graduate from:

  1. University formed under the purview of an Act of the Central Legislature.
  2. University incorporated under the purview of Act of the State Legislature.
  3. Other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as one under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 by Indian Constitution.
  4. Possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government in consultation with the RPSC.

How many attempts are there for RAS?
