DSSSB Lab Technician Syllabus 2025
The DSSSB Lab Technician Exam Syllabus consists of Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Microbiology, Clinical Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Communication Technique, Histopathology, Introduction to Computers, Blood Banking, ECG, and Medical Laboratory Management and Ethics. The total exam is of 200 marks and questions shall be objective type. The detailed syllabus is discussed further in the article below.
DSSSB Lab Technician Exam Pattern 2025
The exam is divided into two sections: Section A and Section B, with a total of 200 marks and 200 questions. Section A consists of five subjects: General Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, Hindi Language Comprehension, and English Language Comprehension, each carrying 20 marks with 20 questions.
Section B focuses on subject-specific questions based on the qualification required for the post, comprising 100 marks with 100 questions.

1. Chemistry: Chemical properties of various materials, solutions, colloids, bases, acids, etc.
2. Anatomy and Physiology: Knowledge of the human body, anatomical structures, and physiological functions.
3. Clinical Microbiology: Techniques for sample collection, processing, and identification of various pathogens.
4. Clinical Hematology: Routine clinical laboratory investigations (blood, urine, etc.).
5. Clinical Biochemistry: Collection and processing of clinical samples. Recording and analyzing biological fluids for normal and abnormal chemical constituents.
6. Communication Techniques: Handling and processing of histological specimens (biopsy, autopsy).
