The UPSC has decided to conduct the UPSC SO/Steno Recruitment Exam 2022 and has released the official notification for the same.
UPSC SO/Steno Recruitment 2022 exam for the UPSC SO/Steno LDCE 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on 11th March, 2023
UPSC SO/Steno Recruitment 2022 Exam will be conducted in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Nagpur.
As per the UPSC SO Steno eligibility, the candidates need to have the basic academic qualification and work experience relevant to the profile. Those who fail to do won’t be able to write the exam.
The commission has not provided any age limit for any of the posts mentioned under the UPSC SO/Steno job profile.
The candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from any recognized university.
The candidates willing to write the examination should be a permanent domicile of India. Additionally, he should be engaged in any of the central government departments in any profile.
The candidates qualifying for the UPSC SO/Steno result of the written examination should also be having the following work experience as mentioned in the table below.

According to the UPSC SO Steno eligibility criteria, there is no mention of maximum attempts by the candidate of any category. The candidates can apply for the post of UPSC SO Steno as long as they fulfil all the other eligibility criteria.
