National Sports Awards 2022 Announced | Key Highlights for UPSC
Recently, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports announced the National Sports Awards 2022. National Sports Awards are given every year to recognize and reward excellence in sports. ”National Sports Awards 2022” is an unskippable topic for any competitive exam of this year and for future exams also. Sports and related activities are of great significance for the UPSC CSE prelims and mains examination. National Sports Awards are given every year to recognize and reward excellence in sports. National Sports Awards are given in 6 categories. These are:
‘Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award’ is given for the spectacular and most outstanding performance in the field of sports by a sportsperson over the period of the previous four years.
