UP PCS Pre Detailed Analysis 2021: The UPPSC PCS Prelims 2021 examination was conducted on 24th October 2021 in two shifts. In the first shift, the UPPCS 2021 Prelims’ first paper (GS 1) was conducted between 9:30 to 11:30 AM. In the second shift, the second Paper (CSAT) of UPPCS Prelims 2021 will be conducted today between 2:30 to 4:30.
According to the first response from various aspirants, UP PCS Pre 2021 shows that prelims 2021 GS Paper 1 was on the expected lines and overall the difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. Factual questions were emphasized in the question paper, which were doable. All should know that the cut-off of the UP PCS Pre 2021 is prepared based on the marks gained by the aspirants in GS Paper 1. In the GS paper 2 (CSAT), candidates have to only secure minimum qualifying marks that are 1/3rd of the total (66.67 marks).

If your concepts are clear, you would find many easy questions like amendments, preamble etc. However, the paper also consisted of some moderate but doable questions like the questions on Public Accounts Committee, Kesavananda Bharti case etc.

UPPSC Exam Analysis 2021 history: The questions from this section were moderate to difficult. The questions from this section were more from the ancient and modern history, and less from the medieval section. From modern history, questions were asked from Vaikom satyagraha, Dharsana Satyagraha were asked. Following similar pattern, UPPSC asked chronological questions, and match the following type questions from this section. The questions were ‘either you know or you dont’ type questions and so can be regarded as moderate.

UPPSC Exam Analysis 2021 science: The questions from this section were moderate. Questions were more related with biology like Botulism, disease, Vitamin deficiency, among others. Some physics related questions like vector quantity, radioactivity, diffusion of light were asked. Moreover, the section was moderate and doable.

UPPSC Exam Analysis 2021 economy: The questions from this section were easy to moderate. Questions from inflation, economic growth were found in the paper. The questions from this section was more dynamic in nature and were mostly from current affairs. The questions were not much difficult and were doable.

UPPSC Exam Analysis 2021 current affairs: There was a lot of questions from current affairs, that too much from the state. The questions were dynamic and were spanning over a year. Questions like visit, sensex, books,state new schemes were in the paper. Questions were also from State budget and Union budget that can be regarded as difficult.
