LIC AAO AE Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2021
The article will take you through the Syllabus and Exam Pattern for all stages of LIC AAO AE Exam. The topic-wise discussion will be there for each stage. LIC AAO AE Exam Pattern 2021
The LIC AAO AE exam is going to have three stages, namely,
- Preliminary Exam (or Phase 1)
- Main Exam (or Phase 2)
- Interview
The prelims and mains exams both will be conducted online.
LIC AAO AE Exam Pattern For Prelims
- The total duration of the online written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question wrong.
- Preliminary Examination (Phase 1) will be an objective test conducted via online mode
- English Language Test will be of qualifying nature & marks in the Language section

LIC AAO AE Exam Pattern For Mains
Main exam consist of Objective Test & Descriptive Test
Total Marks of the Objective Test- 300
Total Marks of the Descriptive Test- 25
Both the exams will be conducted through online mode. The descriptive exam will also be through typing on the computer.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Candidates appearing in the prelim exam will be shortlisted for the main examination. Candidates equal to 20 times of a number of vacancies in each post will be shortlisted.
The final round will be an interview for the qualified candidates of the main exam.
