Teachers Day has been celebrated on the birth date of first Vice President and second President of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on 5 September every year. He was born in 1988.
Globally, Teachers Day is celebrated on 5 October every year but in India, it is celebrated on 5 September 1962 onwards.
Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was an educationist, Indian Philosopher, scholar. He had contributed a lot in the education system of India
