CTET 2021: The CTET notification will be released on 20 September 2021 .As per the notice, the CTET exam will be conducted online for the first time ever. The CTET exam will be conducted between 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022. Along with this, the CTET exam syllabus and the pattern would be revised by the CBSE board. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level exam which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) twice a year for the aspirants who want to secure their teaching job in govt. schools. The CTET notification containing important details regarding the exam including the application process, eligibility criteria, dates, exam structure, syllabus, results, and others will be released soon on the official website.

CTET Exam 2021

CTET Exam 2021: The CTET  online registration is expected to begin from 20th September 2021. As per the CTET 2021 notification, CTET December 2021 Exam is going to be conducted from 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022 . CBSE will soon release the official CTET Notification on its official website i.e @ctet.nic.in. With the release of CTET notification, the CTET online application process will also be started according to the stipulated schedule. What is CTET?

CTET 2021 Exam is a central-level exam that is conducted by CBSE Board. The CTET Notification 2021 is expected to start on 20 September 2021. Every year Lakhs of candidates appear for the CTET Exam. CTET Exam Notification 2021: A press release for CTET 2021 Exam had been released on 30th July 2021. According to that, the CTET 2021 exam is expected to be conducted in December 2021/January 2022 and there have been some revisions made to the syllabus and format. CTET Application Fee 2021

Candidates can apply for CTET 2021 by logging in to the official website of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test after the notification for the same has been released. A candidate belonging to either the General or OBC category is required to pay Rs. 1000/(if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1200/- (if applying for both the papers). The amount of Rs. 500/- (if applying for either Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 600/- (if applying for both the papers) for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

What is the difference between CTET and TET

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The candidate must go through the CTET Eligibility Criteria before filling the CTET  Online application form. Here we are sharing the CTET Eligibility criteria for Primary & Upper Primary level CTET exams.

  • Candidates should pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in order to be qualified as a primary stage teacher
  • Candidates should clear graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or 10+2 with at least 50 percent aggregate marks from a recognized university in order to be qualified for the appointment of a secondary teacher

Note:

  • Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education, etc., are provisionally admitted. Their certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations, before the declaration of Exam result

CTET Exam Pattern 2021

In CTET Exam, there will be two papers :

  • Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Note: Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks Or Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no penalty for any wrong answers.

Candidates can download the CTET admit card from the official website. CTET Admit Card will not be sent to the candidate via post. Candidates must log in into their official registered account to download the admit card. The candidates will require the following details for login: :

  • Registration No/Roll No.

  • The CTET admit card will be made available a month before the CTET 2021 Exam.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the CBSE board has increased the CTET Exam center. The total number of CTET Exam centres has now been increased to maintain the social distancing among the students. CTET Cut-Off & Marks

The candidates appearing in the exam will be issued a Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued a marks statement and Eligibility Certificate. The examination consists of two papers. Paper 1 is meant for the candidates who wish to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 is meant for the candidates who wish to be teachers for classes 6 to 8. Both the papers are 150 marks each. Those candidates who will score marks equal to or more than 90 will be considered qualified.

Q. Is there any provision for Rechecking/Re-evaluation of the OMR Answer sheet?
Ans. The machine-gradable Answer Sheets are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinized. No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation, or scrutiny of OMR Answer Sheets will be entertained. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Ans. The difficulty level of questions in the CTET exam will be:

  • Paper I: based on the topics prescribed in the syllabus of the NCERT for classes I – V
  • Difficulty level: up to the Secondary stage.
  • Paper-II: based on the topics prescribed in the syllabus of the NCERT for classes VI-VII.
  • Difficulty level: up to the Senior Secondary stage.

Q. What to Do If CTET Confirmation Page Does Not Generate?

Ans. Further, in case the confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fee, the candidates are advised to approach the Deputy Secretary (CTET), CBSE in the office hours

    There is a doubt that whether the candidates passed with bachelor of eduation can appear in paper1 or not? Please reply

    1. Those who did B.Ed can apper only in Paper – II and Not for Paper – I….

      Appearing for Paper – I, you must have D.ED/BTC/JBT degree.

  2. B.Tech candidates are eligible for PGT post. they don't need to qualify ctet.

    But for experience, you can appear in ctet exam.

  3. There is no exam of CTET for pgt post. But, you are eligible for PGT post of CS.

    1. After CTET clearance, you are eligible for TGT post, which is appoint for teaching up to 6 to 10th standard.

  4. Sir I am in B.ed first years and my exam held on August then can I apply for CTET

    1. As CTET certificate is acceptable only if you completed your B.Ed or pursuing last semester.

      But, you can apply it for experience & to get familiar for the pattern or level of exam.

    1. B.Tech candidates are eligible for PGT post. they don't need to qualify ctet.

      But for experience, you can appear in ctet exam.

    1. If you did B.Com, then you are not eligible for TGT post but yes if you have m.com degree, then you can apply for PGT post.

      And for PGT post, you don't need to appear in ctet exam.
