CTET 2024 Application Form
The CTET Online Application Form 2024 has been released by the CBSE for the December Session. As the CTET Exam 2024 is conducted twice a year, candidates get two opportunities in a single year. The CTET 2024 forms are available through online mode on the official website of CBSE from 17 September 2024 to 16 October 2024.

CTET Eligibility Criteria
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has announced a notification regarding the revised eligibility criteria for CTET for candidates who are pursuing a Teacher Training Course (TTC). As per the notification, candidates who are pursuing TTC will now be eligible to apply for the CTET Exam.

CTET 2024 Age Limit
Candidates aiming for teaching positions in Classes I-V (Primary Stage) or Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) must be at least 18 years old. However, there is no upper age limit for applicants in either category. Thus, candidates at this phase of their life can apply for CTET once they are 18 years plus.
CTET Age Reservation
There are no seat reservations for candidates from reserved categories (Scheduled Cast/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class and PwD). However, they are provided with a 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for the CTET Exam.
CTET Selection Process
The CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) selection process primarily involves a written examination consisting of two papers. Paper I is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes I-V (Primary Stage), and Paper II is for those aiming to teach Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage). Candidates can choose to appear for either one or both papers depending on their eligibility and teaching preferences.
The exam is conducted in a multiple-choice format, with each paper comprising 150 questions, carrying one mark each. To qualify, candidates must score a minimum of 60% (relaxed for reserved categories). Successful candidates are awarded a CTET certificate, which is a mandatory qualification for teaching positions in schools under the central government and many private institutions.
CTET 2024 Exam Pattern
As per the CTET Exam Pattern 2024, there will be two papers i.e. CTET Paper 1 & CTET Paper 2.
- Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).
Note: Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks Or Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no penalty for any wrong answers.

CTET 2024 Syllabus Paper 1 & 2
The new CTET 2024 Syllabus has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on their official website. The CTET 2024 syllabus is based on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005 and the Right to Education Act (RTE) 2009. CTET 2024 Answer Key
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the provisional answer key for the CTET December 2024 exam soon. You can now download the answer key along with your OMR Sheet and objection link from the official CTET website. To access these, you’ll need to log in using your roll number and date of birth. The CTET answer key 2024 objection link has been activated by the CBSE along with the provisional answer key.
Once you have the answer key and your OMR Sheet, you can compare your answers with the official key. This will help you estimate your scores and get a rough idea of whether you passed the CTET 2024 December exam.
CTET 2024 Result
The Expected Date for the CTET Result 2024 will be revealed later. The CTET Result Release date 2024 will depend on the exam date and eventually the release of the answer key. The candidates have to wait and watch for the announcement made by the CBSE related to the result date.
CTET 2024 Salary
Under the CTET salary 2024, CTET-qualified candidates who work as Primary Teachers (PRT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), or Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT) get handsome salary packages with additional benefits and allowances like House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), etc.

CTET 2024 Cut-Off
CTET 2024 Off Marks is 60% marks for the general category candidates. Therefore, the candidates belonging to the general category must score 90 marks out of a total of 150 marks.
The CTET 2024 Off Marks for the OBC category/ SC category/ ST category is 55% marks. In other words, candidates belonging to the OBC category, SC category, and ST category must secure 82 marks out of a total of 150 marks to become CTET qualified.

CTET 2024 Exam Centre
The CTET 2024 Exam will be conducted in more than 135 CTET 2024 Exam Centres. The candidates are required to choose four Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Exam Centres at the time of CTET 2024 Registration. The CTET 2024 Exam Centres chosen by the candidates will be given the first preference by the CBSE board.
