CTET Exam Pattern

The Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET), overseen by the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), is a nationwide examination. Prospective candidates aiming to attain eligibility for teaching classes 1 to 5 are required to take CTET Paper I. Similarly, those aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8 must undertake CTET Paper II. Should a candidate aspire to teach across classes 1 to 8, they are mandated to participate in both CTET Paper I and CTET Paper II.

CTET Exam Pattern Paper I and II

As per the CBSE Notification 2023, the candidates will have to solve 150 questions in 150 minutes for CTET Paper I and Paper II respectively. There is no negative marking in the CTET Exam 2023, therefore, the candidates must try to attempt all 150 questions without the fear of losing precious marks.

CTET Exam Pattern Paper II

There are 4 sections in CTET Paper II – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and the subject concerned.
