CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for CSIR Exam 2023, he/she must follow the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and for Lectureship (LS) which has been mentioned below. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) National Eligibility Test (NET) is a national-level test to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) positions in Indian universities and research institutions. CSIR NET Eligibility Essential Educational Qualifications
Candidates may check the essential qualification as per their respective course from the given below article. The NTA has set a minimum educational qualification for candidates interested in the CSIR NET exam.
- Candidates must hold an M.Sc.(Master in Science) or an equivalent degree, a B.E, an Integrated BS-MS, a BS 4-year degree, a B.Pharma, a B.Tech, or an MBBS with at least 55% of the required marks to be eligible to apply online for the CSIR NET exam 2023.
- Candidates who are appearing for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category.
- Candidate having B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree or enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
- B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only not for Lectureship/Assistant professor.
- B.Sc. (Hons.) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply
CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria Age Limit & Nationality

CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria Age Limit For JRF
- Maximum age limit for JRF Post is 28 years as on 01-07-2023.
- Candidates from the reserved categories such as (SC/ST/Persons with Disability/ Third Gender and female applicants) may be relaxable up to 5 years and OBC – Non-creamy layer candidates) may have the upper age limit relaxed by up to 3 years, respectively.

CSIR NET Subject-Wise Qualification 2023
