Commerce, French, German, Geology, Home Science, Journalism, Latin, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Russian, Social Work, Sociology, Statistics and Syriac B.Ed is not required.
Biotechnology Master’s Degree in Biotechnology with 50% marks and B.Ed in Natural Science.
All Subjects First Year PG/B.Ed candidates are not eligible to apply for Kerala SET 2025.

Kerala SET 2025 Exam Pattern

The candidates are required to attempt two papers for the Kerala SET 2025 Exam Pattern.

  • Paper I will have 120 questions equally divided into two parts(Part I 60 marks + Part II 60 marks = total 120 marks ), each question carrying one mark.
  • Paper II will have 120 questions with each question carrying one mark except for Mathematics and Statistics there will be only 80 questions each carrying 1.5 marks.
  • There will be no negative marking for any incorrect answers.
  • Paper I  is common for all candidates. It has two parts,
    • Part I  General Knowledge
    • Part II Aptitude in Teaching
  • Paper II is based on the specialization subjects at the Post Graduation Level of the candidates.
