- As per NCTE, Candidates who have been admitted and undergoing any Teacher Training Course(TTC) can be referred to as “Pursuing” and they can be eligible to apply for the TET Examination.
- The candidates whose appointments are challenged were eligible to appear in the TET exam when they are pursuing a Teacher Training Course(TTC).

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. OR
- Candidates who possess “Graduation with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education”.
CTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 For Paper-II

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed. (Special Education). OR

CTET Age Limit 2024
Candidates aiming for eligibility to teach Classes I-V (Primary Stage) or Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) must be at least 18 years old. However, there is no upper age limit for applicants in either category.
