Tripura TET notification had been advertised on 30 October 2026 to invite eligible candidates for the exam who intend to teach Class I to V (Paper 1) and Class VI to VIII (Paper 2). Tripura TET 2026 Exam Schedule
TRBT will conduct the Tripura TET 2026 in two papers on two different Sundays. Paper-I, for Classes I to V, is planned for 20 December 2026. Tripura TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The T-TET eligibility rules are different for Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates must hold the required academic and teaching qualification. Paper-I (Classes I-V)
A candidate must meet any one of the qualification options below, and must also pass T-TET Paper-I.

Note: As per the NCTE notification dated 13.11.2019, the minimum marks in graduation do not apply to those who took admission in B.Ed., B.El.Ed. or an equivalent course before 29 July 2011.

How to Apply for Tripura TET
Candidates must apply only online through the official TRBT website, www.trb.tripura.gov.in. The process has six steps, from registration to printing the acknowledgment. Online application and finalization must be done on the scheduled dates and time. The fee must also be paid on the scheduled date.
Step 1
- Registration: Register with a valid, unique Email ID and mobile number. You will get a Registration Number, which is needed for all further communication.
- Login: Use your Registration Number or Email ID as User ID, with your password. Do not share your password.
Step 2
- Edit Profile: After login, fill in all the details in the Edit Profile form. Without this, you cannot fill the Application Form.
- Upload photo: JPEG/JPG, up to 100 KB, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, preferably white background.
- Upload signature: JPEG/JPG, up to 60 KB, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm, full signature on white background, preferably in blue ink.
Step 3
- Fill Application Form: Enter your qualification details as per the selected eligibility criteria, along with the other details asked.
Step 4
- Finalize Application: You can edit the form as many times as you want, so check all details first. You cannot edit it after finalizing.
Step 5
- Make Payment: Pay online only, by Credit/Debit Card or Netbanking. No other mode is accepted, and the fee is non-refundable.
- Payment issue: If money is deducted but not updated in the system, wait 48 hours before trying again.
Step 6
- Print Acknowledgment: After payment is updated, print the Application Acknowledgment and the payment receipt. Keep them for future use.
Tripura TET 2026 Exam Pattern
Both papers are objective-type, and each question carries one mark. The questions are divided into subjects, and the number of questions in each subject is fixed. Paper-I has all compulsory subjects, while Paper-II has a choice in the last subject group. The detailed syllabus is available on the TRBT website.

Tripura TET 2026 Admit Card

Tripura TET 2026 Qualification Process
Candidates become T-TET qualified through a written test. The test is in MCQ format with 150 questions in each paper. Candidates who qualify will get the T-TET certificate issued by TRBT. This certificate is only one of the eligibility conditions for teacher jobs at the elementary level.

Tripura TET 2026 Passing Criteria
A candidate who secures 60% (90 out of 150) or more marks will be considered to have passed. Relaxation up to 5% (83 out of 150) in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH candidates will be allowed as per the decision of the Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.
