NEET Result Available Soon Supreme Court Stays Bombay High Court decision. Helping NEET hopefuls The NTA has filed a petition with the SC to get directions from it for the declaration of NEET Results. In the most recent information, NTA – National Testing Agency has filed a petition with to the Supreme Court of India seeking a stay of the decision of the Bombay High Court which directed the apex testing body to conduct a re-exam of two NEET applicants. The argument made on behalf of NTA in front of the SC declares that the HC’s ruling had halted the results declaration process , which in turn puts the future of thousands of students in danger.

According to the official timeline, NEET Result 2021 is scheduled to be announced within the 26 the October 2021 and by the end of the month at neet.nta.nic.in. However, the recent decision from the Bombay High Court directing NTA to conduct a re-exam of two candidates has thrown an end to NTA’s plans. If NTA is required to follow the Bombay High Court’s decision regarding the re-exams for two applicants, then it will not be able to declare NEET 2021 Results within the time frame of the timetable. To get around this issue it is reported that the NTA has sought the assistance of SC to ask for its assistance on issue.

What was the reason Bombay HC ordered a re-exam for two candidates?

Recently, two students who appeared in the NEET 2021 exam that was conducted offline on 12, September 2021, approached Bombay High Court after they discovered a mistake in their answer sheets for the exam. In the petition presented to the HC, the candidates argued that their test booklets, as well as OMR sheets, were confused in their NEET examination for the UG. Making corrective steps after determining that the students had not at fault in the confusion, Bombay HC passed the decision directing NTA to conduct a second exam for both candidates. The court ordered that the re-exam be held prior to the announcement of NEET 2021 results, which put NTA in a tight position.
