CUET PG Cutoff: Tie-Breaking Rules

If two candidates attain the same CUET(PG) – 2024 merit score for a certain program, the following factors will be used successively to resolve the tie:

The candidate with the highest average percentage across the first five semesters (or three years, for annual mode) of the Qualifying Examination will be given preference, as specified in the eligibility conditions.
The candidate with the highest percentage in the fifth (or final) year of the Qualifying Examination will be given priority. If the tie persists, superior percentages from previous semesters (or years) will be used to break the tie.
If the tie is not broken, the candidates’ ages will be examined, with priority given to the candidate born earlier, as specified on the Class X certificate.
