RPF Application Dates 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has already notified the application dates in its official notification. The online process for both SI and Constable posts has commenced and will continue till 14th May 2024.

RPF Vacancy 2024 for Constable and SI Post

The Railway Recruitment Board has notified 452 vacancies for the Sub Inspector post and 4208 vacancies for the Constable post. The category-wise distribution for both vacancies has been shared in the table below. Note that The vacancies for ExSM and Females remaining unfilled for want of suitable ExSM and Females during recruitment shall be filled up by the suitable Male candidate as per existing guidelines.

RPF Apply Online 2024

The RPF Online Form portal is now active and candidates can apply according to their educational qualification and age limit for the SI and Constable post. Remember that the last date is 14th May 2024 and apply before it as there will be no extension on the last date to apply. How To Apply for RPF Recruitment 2024?

If you are applying for the post, you need to know the steps to apply for the SI and Constable posts. Candidates must essentially go through the notification PDF and important instructions related to the online application process to avoid any potential mistakes in the application form. Step 1 – Visit the Railway Protection Force’s official website at www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 2 – First Register yourself and then subsequently, you will receive a registration ID and password.

Step 3 – You can use the registration ID and password to log in and fill out the application form. Complete the application form by supplying all necessary information, encompassing personal details, educational qualifications, and other pertinent data.

Step 4- Upload scanned copies of documents and essential certificates (they should be the correct size and dimensions).

Step 5 – Pay the application fee and then review your application to verify the accuracy and completeness of the provided information. Once content, submit your application.

Application Fee

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has mentioned that the application fee for the online application process will be as per the norms. The candidates are required to pay the application fee online/offline (mode will be confirmed). For the application form, General/OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/Female/ESM/EBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-.

RPF Constable and SI Eligibility Criteria

You must be looking for eligibility criteria for both posts before applying. You are right, it is mandatory to ensure that you are eligible for the SI or Constable post before proceeding further. The Railway Recruitment Board has prescribed the age limit, educational qualification, physical measurements, and nationality for that purpose. Now, we will go through RPF eligibility for each post.

Nationality criteria are the same for both posts. Candidates must be Indian citizens to apply.

RPF Selection Process 2024

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) recruitment typically includes multiple stages to assess candidates for various positions, such as Constables and Sub-Inspectors. Check the details given below.

Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Phase I: Initial online exam covering General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – Phase II: Qualified candidates from CBT undergo activities like running, long jump, and high jump. Physical standards vary by post.

RPF Exam Pattern 2024

To be selected for an RPF constable or SI post, you must pass a computer-based online exam. The following is the RPF Exam Pattern 2024 for Constable and SI posts.

There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
The duration of the exam is 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Mins).
The Exam shall be computer-based and questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type.
The difficulty level of the questions for the Constable post will be as per class 10th (Matriculation).
The difficulty level of the questions for the SI post will be Graduation.

RPF Document Verification

The final stage of selection will be the document verification round. Candidates who will clear all the stages will reach the DV round. In this round, the documents of the candidates like mark sheets, caste certificates, NOC Letters, and other important documents will be checked. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents as per the stated date will be disqualified.
