- India will play its first Men’s Hockey World Cup Match against Spain on 13th January 2023 at Bhubhaneshwar’s Kalinga Stadium.

FIF Hockey World Cup 2023 Participants
15th edition of FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, will see participation of 16 countries, divided into four pools (A-D), competing for the winning title. During the Hockey World Cup 2023 group stage, each team will play three hockey matches.
The four pool winners will advance to the quarter-finals while the teams finishing second and third in their pools will have to play crossover matches for the remaining four quarter-final spots.
