68th BPSC 2023 New Added Vacancy
Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) has released a notification regarding addition of 43 vacancies to the 68th BPSC 2023 Exam. Candidates who are going to appear for the 68 Combined (Preliminary) Competitive examination 2023 can check and read the notification on the official website – bpsc.bih.nic.in or click on the direct link given below. As per the official notification, these posts have been added in the Disaster Management department. This takes the total number of vacancies to 324 which will be filled through BPSC 68th CCE.

Last Date To Apply For 68th BPSC Extended To 10th January 2023
The BPSC has also extended the deadline to apply for the competitive examination. Earlier, the last date for application submission was December 30, 2022 which has now been extended to January 10, 2023 with an additional fees.

68th BPSC 2022-23 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should be a graduate from any government-recognized university or UGC-approved university.
Those who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for BPSC though their graduation result should be declared before the final exam of BPSC.
The BPSC Age Limit for General Category male aspirants is:
- Minimum Age – 20, 21 and 22 years
- Maximum Age – 37

- There is no restriction on the number of attempts as long as candidates full the age criteria.
- For government employees who have been in continuous service for at least three years:
- Number of Attempts: 3
- Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: 5 years
- For Persons with Disability (PwD), the upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years.
- Ex-servicemen who are not above 53 years of age, can avail BPSC age relaxation of three years plus the number of years in service.

68th BPSC Exam pattern 2022-23 Official notification!
The 68th BPSC Exam (Combined Competitive Exam) 2023 will be held in three stages:
- Prelims – 1 objective type paper for 150 marks. As per the latest 68th BPSC Exam pattern 2022-23, Prelims will now have negative marking as well. For every correct answer 1 mark will be given while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Mains – 5 descriptive papers (1 qualifying + 4 merit ranking) for 1000 marks. Optional in 68th BPSC Mains exam 2022-23 will be objective and will be of 100 marks.
- Interview – 120 marks
