MPPSC Eligibility Criteria

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has started the online application for MPPSC prelims 2021. The new notification was released on 22 December 2021 where the commission has notified vacancies for various posts including State civil services, State Forest Services etc. The MPPSC eligibility criteria 2022 apply online will be active from 10th January 2022 to 9th February 2022.

 

MPPSC specifies the Eligibility Criteria for candidates for the MPPSC 2021 exam. The MPPSC age limit, qualification, and rules of domicile are comprehensively explained in this section. It will help aspirants to understand their eligibility to appearing for the MPPSC examination 2021 based on the 2020-21 eligibility criteria. MPPSC recruitment 2022 eligibility criteria

  • The candidate must be a Citizen of India.
  • Male candidates with more than one wife (living) are not eligible.
  • Female candidates who have married a person already having a wife (living) are not eligible.
  • Candidates claiming age relaxation/reservation in more than one category for the MPPSC Exam shall be entitled to only one concession, whichever is more beneficial.
  • Candidates who are declared guilty by the court for a crime against women will not be eligible for the examination. However, the candidates against whom the court verdict for the said cases are due, may sit for the examination but will be posted only after the final verdict is out (And he/she isn’t guilty).

 

MPPSC apply online eligibility criteria: MPPSC Age limit

MPPSC provides different age limits for non-uniformed posts and uniformed posts, which are given below.

Minimum age 21 years
Maximum age 40 years (Candidates should not have completed 40 years)

45 years – For Women (UR, PwD), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc)

Uniformed-Post
Minimum age 21 years
Maximum age 33 years (Candidates should not have completed 33 years)

38 years – For Women (UR), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc)

 

IMPORTANT: The age will be computed as of 1st January 2022.

In the original notification, MPPSC provides for the age relaxation for different categories of applicants. Below is the comprehensive list of age relaxation to apply for MPPSC Recruitment 2021.

MPPSC eligibility criteria 2022: Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University or equivalent qualification.

Candidates possessing Professional and Technical qualifications, which are recognized by the State Government as equivalent to a Professional or Technical degree.

Such Candidates who have professional or technical qualifications, which are Equivalent to technical degrees recognized by the State Government will be Eligible for admission to the examination.

For the post of District/Area Convenor and Tribal Welfare Department preference will be given to those candidates who have taken sociology as a subject at the graduation level. Preferred means that in the event of having equal marks, the final selection of candidate will depend on the alphabetical order who has taken Sociology as a subject at the undergraduate level.
