AILET 2024
The National Legal University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) administers the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), a national entrance exam, for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate legal programs. On December 10, 2023, the National Law University of Delhi will host the AILET 2024. Candidates can fill out the application and show up for the entrance exam if they want to be considered for admission to BA LLB, LLM, or PhD studies in the academic year 2024–2025. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2024) is a national entrance test for undergraduate and graduate legal programmes. On August 7, 2023, the National Law University of Delhi began the AILET 2024 registration procedure, and candidates will be able to fill out the AILET 2024 application form online via the official portal – nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
The deadline for the AILET Application form 2024 was extended by the National Law University (NLU) Delhi but now it is over. AILET 2024 Admit card will be published on November 20, 2023.
AILET 2024 Exam Date
The AILET 2024 exam date was made public by the university. According to the AILET 2024 Exam Notification, AILET Exam date 2024 is December 10, 2024, at NLU Delhi. The AILET Exam 2024 will be conducted on paper from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The AILET 2024 exam paper for BA LLB courses is divided into three sections: Logical Reasoning, English Language, and Current Affairs with General Knowledge —which comprise 150 questions in total. The AILET cut-off for admission to NLU Delhi in the competitive AILET exam is often fairly high. The candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted for admissions counseling to the NLU Delhi law programs.

AILET Exam Pattern
Along with the AILET 2024 notification, NLU Delhi released the revised AILET exam pattern and syllabus. To prepare for the exam, candidates should refer to the revised AILET exam pattern 2024. The AILET exam paper for BA LLB (Hons) is divided into three sections: Logical Reasoning (70 points), English Language (50 marks), and Current Affairs & GK (30 marks). AILET 2024 Eligibility for Undergraduate (BA LLB)
- Candidates must have successfully completed either the comparable exam from a recognized institution or the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates may also apply for the AILET 2024 by taking the board exam for the 12th grade.
- There is no upper age limit for taking the AILET test.
AILET 2024 Eligibility for Postgraduate (LLM)
- Candidates must have earned their law degree from a college or university that has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
- They needed to have earned at least 50% overall (45% for SC/ST candidates).

Relaxation in eligibility criteria
- Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) groups are eligible for a 5% exemption in the minimum passing score.
- Candidates who took the board exam for the 12th grade and are awaiting results may also apply for the AILET 2024. At the time of acceptance, they will need to present a provisional certificate from their school or institution.
AILET Admission 2024
On August 7, NLU Delhi made the AILET 2024 application form available. On the website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, an online application form will be made available. Candidates who want to take the entrance exam must submit their application form and registration fee before the deadline. For general category candidates and candidates, the registration cost for AILET 2024 is Rs. 3,500 and Rs. 3,000, respectively. Candidates can use credit, debit, and net banking to pay the AILET registration cost online.

Step 5:Please enter the necessary information in the “User Registration Form”.The information provided by applicants must be valid, and the information on the 10th mark sheet will be regarded as authentic; any changes may result in the application form being rejected.

Step 7: Select the correct application form and click the “Apply” button.
Step 8: Then click on the “Pending Requests” section, select the form you would like to use for payment, and click “Make Payment”.
Step 9: Then you redirect to the payment gateway, Complete your payment of the AILET 2024 Application online via credit card, a debit card, or internet banking.
Select one of the payment methods, enter the fee details and pay the fee.
Step 10: After payment, you will receive a confirmation email. Candidates can then view and print the confirmation slip.
Step 11:Applicants should maintain a copy of their completed application form and their fee receipt for future reference.
AILET Form Fees
It must be noted that candidates must pay the AILET Form Fees in order to successfully submission of the application form. The application fee for the AILET 2024 exam is Rs. 1000 for candidates in the General Category and Rs. 500 for those in the SC, ST, and PWD categories.
