CLAT Colleges 2024
The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the list of CLAT Colleges 2024 that features some of the well-known law schools around the country. CLAT exam is used to grant students entry into the National Law Universities (NLUs) and other top law schools around the country. Given that NLUs are among the best legal schools in the nation, preparing for the CLAT exam properly is essential.
One of the longest law entrance exams, the CLAT is renowned for evaluating a candidate’s legal competence. Apart from NLUs, a lot of law schools employ CLAT results in their admissions process. The list of updated CLAT Colleges 2024 will motivate students to study hard in order to get admitted to one of the prestigious law college offered through this exam.
Colleges Through CLAT Exam
24 of the 26 NLUs will accept applicants via the CLAT 2024. Since NLUs are regarded as some of the best legal schools in the nation, being well-prepared is essential to passing the CLAT exam. The offline version of CLAT 2024 will take place on December 3, 2023. On November 21, the CLAT 2024 admit card was already distributed. How Many CLAT Colleges in India
Using CLAT 2024, 24 of the 26 National Law Universities (NLUs) will admit students. Although they are not affiliated with the CLAT colleges in India, NLU Delhi and NLU Meghalaya administer different exams for their combined BA, LLB, and LLM programs. For many prospective law students, NLUs are usually their first choice. Apart from the NLUs, 60 government and private universities offer admission through the CLAT score. So, for a serious students, there are abundant opportunities available through the CLA T exam. It must be noted that the CLAT exam is conducted to admit students into UG (LLB) as well as PG course (LLM).
CLAT Colleges 2024 – Courses Offered
The top colleges affiliated to the CLAT examination offers different courses at the UG and PG levels. The UG course is generally an LLB program that can be either BA/BSc/BBA/B.Tech. The course offered at the PG level is known as LLM. The names of some courses is given below.
- Bachelor of Technology + Bachelor of Law (B.Tech LLB) – Five Years
- Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) – Five Years
- Bachelor of Business Administration + Bachelor of Law (BBA LLB) – Five Years
- Master of Law (LLM) – Two Years

CLAT Colleges 2024 for LLM Course
Many students appear for the CLAT exam to undertake admission into the LLM course of top law colleges. The Master of Law (LLM) program, among other postgraduate legal courses, will accept applications through CLAT 2024. Based on CLAT 2024 results, a total of 22 NLUs will provide places to applicants for the LLM program. The list of NLUs taking part in the LLM course, together with their seat allocation, is shown below. Several private universities will also accept CLAT 2024 scores in addition to NLUs for admission to the LLM program. CLAT Colleges 2024 – Top Affiliated Law Colleges
In addition to the NLUs, a number of additional universities have an agreement with the Consortium of National Law Universities under which they will utilize the CLAT results in their admissions procedure. Candidates may use their scorecard to submit separate applications for admission to colleges affiliated with CLAT. There will be no CLAT counseling for admission to these law schools.
