UP NEET Counselling 2026 Security Deposit

Before choice filling, candidates have to pay a refundable security deposit according to the type of colleges they want to choose. Students should pay the correct amount. Without paying the security deposit, choice filling will not be completed.

Documents Required for UP NEET Counselling 2026

Candidates should carry both original documents and photocopies during admission. The counselling authority also asks for domicile and reservation certificates wherever applicable. It is always better to keep two or three photocopy sets. Sometimes colleges ask for extra copies.

Bond Policy in UP Medical Colleges

Candidates taking admission in government medical colleges should also know about the service bond.

As per the counselling information, the bond duration is 2 years and the bond amount is ₹10 lakh.

Before taking admission, students should read all bond conditions carefully. Many students ignore this part and later they gets confused.

UP NEET Counselling 2026 Round 1: Round 1 is the first chance for admission. In this round, if a candidate gets a government, private medical, or dental seat, they can choose Free Exit.

Free counselling means, after getting a seat allotted, you are not interested to join college, then the security deposit will not be lost in round 1.

UP NEET Counselling 2026 Round 2: Students who did not get any seat in Round 1, or who used Free Exit, can take part in Round 2. You do not need to pay the security deposit again.
