KAR TET 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Before a candidate applies for the teaching post, they must be aware of the eligibility criteria that we have provided here. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi. The recruitment for teachers is being done to teach at Primary Teacher Level-I (Class 1 to 5) & Upper Primary Teacher Level-II (Class 6 to 8) in various schools under Karnataka Government.

Educational Qualification for Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known)

Qualifying Marks in KAR TET Exam
In the case of General category, candidates who have scored more than 60% will be considered eligible for the exam.
For SC/ST/C-1, differently-abled persons, 55% of marks will be considered eligible.
No GRACE MARKS will be given to any of the questions deleted.
The Validity Period of KARTET qualifying certificate will be for seven years from the date of declaration of its results.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a KARTET Certificate

There will be two sections in the written exam of the KSP Police constable exam.
The Descriptive paper has three sections, Essay, Precise, and translation.

Educational Qualification
The candidate must have Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.
