The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF)conducts the Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) Examination biannually in July and December sessions. The exam is mainly conducted to impart knowledge in the field of Banking, Finance Management, and Business Law. Through this examination, aspirants can step further in the career growth as a Banker.

CAIIB Registration 2024

If you are planning to apply for the first session of the CAIIB 2024 Exam (i.e., July session), then you must know that the online registration portal will be activated from 7th May 2024 on the official website of IIBF @www.iibf.org.in. The registration process will conducted in intervals and it will continue till 27th May 2024. The table below mentions the registration windows for the CAIIB July session.

CAIIB 2024 Application Fee

While registering for CAIIB, you are required to make a payment of nominal amount as application fee. The application fee will be mentioned on the application form. The IIBF will charge an extra fee from candidates who apply later than the deadline date such as Rs. 100 extra fee for those who apply in 2nd period of registration from 14th to 20th May and Rs. 200 extra for registrations between 21st to 27th May 2024.

CAIIB 2024 Exam Date for July Session

The session-wise exam schedule for CAIIB 2024 has been shared here. Candidates must make notes of the exam dates and the registration dates. For the July session, the registration begins on 7th May 2024 and for the September session, it begins on 3rd September 2024. The CAIIB Exam dates 2024 also has been announced for both cycle. CAIIB 2024 Registration for December Session

The registration for CAIIB Exam in December starts on 3rd September 2024 and in the same way it will conducted in defined periods of 7 days. Along with registration, you will have to pay the normal fee and some extra charges if your are applying late.

CAIIB 2024 Exam Schedule for December

CAIIB Attempt-wise Fee (Members Only)

The table given below, mentions the fee that is to be paid by the candidates while making registration. The first attempt fee is Rs. 5,000/- and for the rest of the attempts it is Rs. 1,300/-.

CAIIB 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To appear for the CAIIB 2024, candidates must have passed the Part 1 of the Associate Examination or the JAIIB exam. Applicants must hold membership with IIBF and Candidates’ membership subscription should be up to date and not in arrears.

Steps to Apply for IIBF CAIIB Registration 2024

Follow the steps given below to apply and register for the CAIIB 2024 Registration process on the official website of IIBF:

1. Visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance at iibf.gov.in or click on the direct “apply online” button provided above.
2. If you are already a registered member of the Institute, you can access the “members” section under the ‘Apply now’ tab.
3. Once you have accessed the page, carefully review the rules, syllabus, and eligibility criteria for the examinations provided.
4. Select the examination for which you intend to apply.
5. Next, log in using your membership number and password, and carefully read through the instructions provided. Then, proceed to fill in the required details such as exam mode, medium, exam center, and place of work.
6. Once you have completed this step, click on the “preview” button to review the IIBF JAIIB Application Form. After reviewing the form, click on the “submit” button and proceed to the fee payment section.
7. Choose your preferred payment option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment process.
8. Once the payment process is completed, you will receive details displayed on the screen and sent to you via email/SMS. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the details for future reference and usage.

CAIIB 2024 Exam Pattern

There are compulsory 4 papers and 1 Elective Paper. Candidates are required to select one elective paper from a choice of 5 subjects, namely Rural Banking, Human Resources Management, Information Technology & Digital Banking, Risk Management, and Central Banking. Each paper comprises 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100 marks. There is no penalty for incorrect answers in the CAIIB 2024 Exam. The examination duration for each compulsory paper is 2 hours
