UPSC CMS Notification 2022
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for Combined Medical Services Examination 2022 and has invited applications under various categories. As of now, the total vacancies stand at 687, which the commission can increase or decrease in the future. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before 26th April, 2022. UPSC CMS 2022 eligibility
Age limit: A candidate for this examination must have attained 21 years of age and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August, 2022.
Education qualification: For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
Physical and medical standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/medical standards for the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2022 as per regulations
contained in Appendix III to the Rules of the Examination.
UPSC CMS 2022 application fee
Candidates are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200/-
All female candidates and candidates belonging from SC/ST/PwD category are exempted from payment of fee.
UPSC CMS 2022 exam pattern
The written examination in both the papers will be completely of objective (Multiple choice answers) type.
There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
WRITTEN EXAMINATION – (500 marks)
The candidates will take the written examination in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each Paper will be of two hours duration.
Both the Papers of the CMSE will be of MBBS standard.
Personality Test: (100 Marks):
Personality test carrying 100 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the
results of the written examination.
