Common Law Entrance Test(CLAT) is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The Consortium of National Law Universities has recently announced that the CLAT 2022 exam will be conducted on 08th May 2022. Candidates willing to pursue Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law courses can take CLAT 2022. All the National Law Universities except NLU Delhi and other private law colleges accept the CLAT scorecard. What is CLAT?

CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) is a national-level entrance test which is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs. All the National Law Universities except NLU Delhi accept the CLAT scorecard. National Law University Delhi conducts its own entrance exam AILET for UG and PG courses. The candidates can pursue 5 years integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) course by NLU’s. Currently, 22 NLUs are provided the UG courses through the CLAT scorecard and 19 NLUs are providing PG courses. Not only to get admission in law schools but CLAT-PG scorecards can also be used for recruitment by some public organizations such as BHEL and ONGC.

CLAT 2022 Exam Dates

Here we have provided the important dates of CLAT 2022. The CLAT 2022 examination will be held on 08th May 2022 and CLAT 2023 exam will be conducted on 18th December 2022. It is the first time when CLAT examination is being held twice a year. CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who wish to appear in CLAT 2022 must know the eligibility criteria for the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. If candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria their candidature can be terminated at any stage of the admission process.

CLAT 2022 UG Eligibility Criteria

If candidates are 12th pass and want to pursue an integrated course of LLB they must check the eligibility criteria for the UG program given below in the table:

CLAT 2022 PG Eligibility Criteria

Check the postgraduate eligibility criteria given below in the table. if candidates failed to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for PG then their candidature can be terminated at any stage of admission for PG courses.

CLAT 2022 Application Form Fee
