KVS Fee Structure : Check Fee Structure, Schedule, Fees Exemption Here

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is one the largest chain of schools in India. The chain of KVs is managed by the Delhi- based Kendriya Vidyalaya  Sangathan (KVS). The KVS is an autonomous body functioning under the Union HRD Ministry’s jurisdiction. Kendra Vidyalaya is famous for its exemplary examination results through the years. The KVs are affiliated with the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE). It primary objective is to provide admission and quality education to the children of Central Government Employees with their unpredictable transfer schedule. There are more than 1000 KVs spread across all the states and union territories in India. In this article, we will discuss the Fees Structure of KVs in detail.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Fees 2021 Schedule:

The students/parents are required to pay the fees of Kendriya Vidyalaya within the first 15 days of every month. After the 15th of every month the late fee will be applicable. The following KVS Fee Structure is given below :

Fees 2021 for 1st quarter May 22 to June 21, 2021
Fees 2021 for 2nd quarter July 1st to 15th, 2021
Fees 2021 for 3rd quarter October 1st to 15th, 2021
Fees 2021 for 4th quarter January 1st to 15th, 2021

Kendriya Vidyalaya : Fees Details

The following table states  the dates of quarterly fees submission of the KVS fees. The admission fees has to be submitted in the first quarter after the admission process of KV is completed.

Fee Details
Quarter Fee (Tuition Fee) KVS collects tuition fees on a quarterly basis in the months of January, April, July & October.
Advance Fee Students can pay the academic year fee/annual fee as an Advance Fee. Advance Fee can be paid for 1 academic year at one time. It can be paid only in January, April, July, and October.
Arrear fee* The arrear fee can be paid only to a maximum of one academic year. In successive months to previous months or with the next quarter fee.
New Admission Fee To be paid in the first quarter after admission.
Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) Students are required to pay VVN which is used for the development of that particular school.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Fees Structure 2021-22

The basic fee structure of KV is given below :

Tuition Fee Rs. 200/month for the male students of Class 9 & 10
Rs. 300/month for the male students of Class 11 & 12 (Commerce & Humanities)
Rs. 400/month for the male students of Class 11 & 12 (Science)
Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN) Rs. 500 (for classes 1 to 12)
KVS Computer Fees Rs. 100/month (for Classes 3 to 12, wherever computer science is taught)
Rs. 150/month (for computer science students of Class 11 & 12)

Kendriya Vidyalaya Fees: Payment Methods

Kendra Vidyalaya students/parents can easily pay their KV Fees 2021 through both online and offline modes as per their convenience.

Online Mode

  • Students/ parents can pay the fees online through the official website of KVS or by the Union Bank of India KVS fee payment mode.
  • Students/ parents can pay the fees through any mobile banking app provided by the various Banks in India.

Offline Mode:

Students/ parents can access the system generated KV fee challan  to make their offline payments. The challan can be generated  from the official websites of KVS and UBI.

Ans. VVN Stands for Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi.

Q. Kendriya Vidyalaya only for government employees?

Ans. No, but the priority is given to the children of Government employees.

Q. What is the mode of KV fees payment?

Ans. Kendriya Vidyalaya fees can be paid in both online and offline mode.
