Nagar, Chennai, ESIC Mumbai, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Beltola, Guwahati, and ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Surat and Pune through walk-in interview, and another notice covers direct recruitment of Professors across ESIC PGIMSRS and ESIC Medical Colleges located in different states through postal application. The application format differs slightly across the three notices. For the contract basis posts at KKN Chennai and Mumbai, candidates must fill the prescribed application form and bring it along with documents at the time of walk-in interview, with the option to send an advance copy by email. For direct recruitment, candidates must fill the application form given with the notice, paste a photograph, and send it by post along with self-attested documents to the given address before the last date.

How to Apply for ESIC Faculty Recruitment 2026

The steps to apply are simple but differ for both notices, so candidates should read carefully before applying.

Application Process For K.K. Nagar, Chennai:

• Fill the application form in the prescribed format given with the notice.
• Attach the Demand Draft (if applicable) and self-attested copies of certificates.
• Send an advance copy of the application to recruitment-mch.kkn@esic.gov.in (optional).
• Report directly for the walk-in interview on the scheduled date with the hard copy of application and all original documents.
• Submit the hard copy of application along with enclosures at the time of registration without fail.

Application Process For Professor (Different location):

• Fill the application form in the prescribed format given with the notice.
• Paste a recent self-attested passport size photograph on the form.
• Attach self-attested copies of all required certificates and documents.
• Attach the Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque, pinned (not stapled) at the top of the form.
• Send the complete application by post, superscribed “Application for the post of Professor for Medical Institutions,” to the Regional Office, ESI Corporation, Rajendra Place, New Delhi-110008, on or before 27.07.2026

For ESIC Mumbai (Faculty and Senior Resident):

• Download the application form from the official ESIC website.
• Fill the form and attach self-attested copies of certificates and Demand Draft (if applicable).
• Submit the application offline or by email before the last date, as instructed in the notification.
• Take a printout of the submitted application and report for the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.
• Note that walk-in interviews are held on 9th to 11th of every month from June 2026 onwards, so candidates can choose a suitable month.

For ESIC Beltola, Guwahati:

• Fill the common application form (as attached with the notice) in block letters.
• Attach one self-attested copy of every testimonial along with the originals.
• Outstation candidates may send self-attested dossiers in advance by email to deanbeltolaguwahati@gmail.com.
• Report for document verification between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM on 10.07.2026 at the Chamber of the Dean,

• Fill the offline application form (attached with the advertisement) in the prescribed format, separately for each post applied for.

ESIC Faculty Application Fees

The application fee for both notices is the same amount, but the mode of payment is different. Women, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates do not need to pay any fee in both notices.

ESIC Faculty Age Limit and Relaxation

The ESIC age limit rules are different for K.K. Nagar, Chennai and direct recruitment posts, so candidates should check the rule that applies to their chosen notice.

ESIC Faculty Selection Process

The selection for both notices is mainly based on interview performance before the Selection Board.

• Selection is done through a personal interview carrying 100 marks.
• Minimum qualifying marks are UR/EWS – 50, OBC – 45, and SC/ST/PwBD – 40.
• If the number of applicants is very high, a screening test may be conducted before the interview.
• In direct recruitment, candidates may be shortlisted based on teaching experience beyond the minimum required.
• In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate is given preference first.
• If age is also the same, the candidate who passed the essential degree earlier is preferred.
• The final result is published on the official ESIC website.
