KARTET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The KARTET Eligibility Criteria 2025 outlines the educational qualifications and minimum marks required for candidates aspiring to become teachers in Karnataka’s primary and upper primary schools.   • Secured 50% marks in PUC or equivalent and completed or pursuing a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Obtained 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) along with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
  • Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks who have completed or are pursuing D.El.Ed or B.Ed are also eligible.

For Paper II (Teaching Classes 6-8):

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a D.El.Ed or B.Ed qualification.
  • Have Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed degree.
  • Possess a graduation degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed in Special Education.
