Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates interested to apply for the KARTET Exam 2022 must go through the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria properly. This way they can ensure they are eligible for the KARTET Exam 2022 before submitting their KARTET Application Form 2022. The candidates who will fail to comply with the Karnataka TET Eligibility Criteria 2022 will face rejection or disqualification and their KARTET Application Fees will not be returned.

(Paper-I) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 1 to 5)

PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

(Paper-II) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 6 to 8)

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Note: Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification meant for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently abled.
