The female candidates who opt for the CTET examination must have an effective preparation strategy to be successful in the upcoming examination. In this article, we have shared some preparation strategies for the candidates to utilise their time in maximising their preparation level and achieve their desired goal.

Know Your Syllabus

The candidates who want to be successful in the CTET exam must know the exam pattern and the syllabus of the sections that are relevant for the exam perspective. With this, the candidates will be able to analyse the types of questions asked in the CTET examination and focus on the important topics and chapters. They must follow a routine and know their preparation level, only then they will be able to know their weaker and stronger sections. This will help them in giving proper time to their weaker sections and completing their entire syllabus before the exam.

Work on Time Management Skills

One can qualify for the CTET examination only if one have effective time management skills. The hard work a working woman performs throughout the day becomes a very difficult task for them to prepare for the exam. Hence they must be mentally prepared for attempting the questions in a lesser time duration. They can watch the topics from youtube videos and clear their doubts about the topic they find difficulty in, this will help them boost their preparation level. Once they inculcate proper time management skills they can utilise their spare time in revising and polishing their strong topics and paying more attention to the difficult subjects.

Keep Accuracy level high

Accuracy plays an important role in the selection process of any competitive exam. As per the marking scheme of the CTET examination, no marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates cannot afford to tick the random options or else they may lose marks, which will affect the overall score of the candidate. So the candidates need to practice solving questions with speed and maintain their accuracy. As housewives have no time to go to the coaching institutes, it becomes a difficult task for them to cover the entire syllabus. Online classes thus play an important part in these situations, they can be benefited in terms of completing basic concepts, clearing their doubts and following a strategy so that they don’t lag behind.

Practice with CTET Previous Year Papers

The candidates can be aware of the exam pattern of the CTET examination by solving the previous year papers. With the help of the previous year paper, the candidates will get an insight into the examination structure, difficulty level, and questions with marks weightage asked previously in the exam. This will help them know where they stand as per the exam preparation. By attempting previous year papers, the candidates will be able to know the variety of questions asked in the CTET examination and boost their confidence and approach for the actual CTET examInation.

Analyse Mock Test Performance

Attempting and analysing mock tests will help the candidates enhance the preparation level. Attempting mock tests on a regular basis will help the candidates build speed and accuracy which is crucial for clearing the CTET examination. Additionally, this helps in determining the strong and weak areas of the candidates and allows them to allocate more time in improving the weak areas. Thus, the candidates are advised to keep the slot of mock tests in their study schedule to ace the CTET Exam with high scores.
