How to Apply for GBPUAT Faculty Recruitment 2026

Candidates must follow the offline application process carefully, as any deviation from the prescribed format can lead to rejection.

• Download the application form and Annexures I, II, and III from the official website.
• Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, research publications, and employment history in the prescribed format.
• Attach a self-attested passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of all certificates and mark sheets.
• Fill the self-assessed score in Annexure-II (Table 3A) for shortlisting purposes.

• The total Academic/Research score is out of 100 marks (80 for academic qualifications, 10 for research publications, and 10 for teaching experience).
• A merit list will be prepared based on this score, and candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 10 times for one post and 5 times for each additional post.
• Shortlisted candidates will appear for an Interview carrying a maximum of 20 marks.
• Final selection depends only on marks obtained in the interview, not the shortlisting score.
• The university may also hold a written or qualifying test before the interview stage, at its discretion.

GBPUAT Assistant Professor Salary

Selected candidates as GBPUAT Assistant Professor will be placed at Academic Level 10 with a rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700 per month. Retirement and other service benefits will be given as per the orders of the Uttarakhand State Government, as amended and adopted by the university from time to time.
