KGBV Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Both districts follow the age and qualification norms set by the state Samagra Shiksha directives for upgraded KGBV schools. Candidates should check the post-wise qualifications in the respective district’s official notification before applying.

How to Apply for KGBV Recruitment 2026?
The application process is offline for both districts, but each has its own mailing address and deadline. Follow these steps:
- Download the prescribed application form from the respective district website – https://bulandshahar.nic.in/ for Bulandshahr, or www.bareilly.nic.in for Bareilly – or use the format published with each notification.
- Fill in personal, educational, and category details clearly in the application form.
- Attach self-attested copies of all mark sheets from Class 8 through post-graduation and B.Ed., experience certificates, residence proof, caste certificate, and Aadhaar card.
- Attach two character certificates issued by gazetted officers.
- Convert any CGPA/SGPA on mark sheets to percentage using the university’s conversion formula, and attach the conversion certificate.
- Mention the post, subject, and category clearly in bold on top of the envelope.
- Enclose two self-addressed envelopes with the correct registered/speed post postage.
- Send the completed application only through Registered Post or Speed Post to the correct district address:

KGBV Selection Process
Both districts use the same quality-marks formula for teaching and academic posts. Rasoiya, Chaprasi, and Chowkidar posts are selected through an interview in both districts.
- High School marks: percentage × 10/100
- Intermediate marks: percentage × 10/100
- Graduation marks: percentage × 20/100
- Post-graduation marks: percentage × 20/100
- Training qualification marks: percentage × 30/100
- Bulandshahr also adds 2 marks per completed year of past KGBV teaching experience, up to a maximum of 30 marks
If two or more candidates have equal quality marks, the older candidate ranks higher. If age is also equal, ranking follows English alphabetical order of the candidate’s name.
