CWSSU Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold the required academic qualification, research record, and eligibility test clearance depending on the post they are applying for. The qualification norms for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor are given below.

CWSSU Assistant Professor Selection Process
The selection process differs slightly for Assistant Professor compared to Associate Professor and Professor posts, but all candidates go through shortlisting followed by an interview.
- For Assistant Professor: shortlisting is based on academic score as per Appendix II Table 3A of UGC Regulations, 2018.
- For Associate Professor and Professor: shortlisting is based on verification of minimum eligibility, API Research Score, and evaluation of publications as per Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for Assistant Professor and 1:5 each for Associate Professor and Professor.
- Final selection for all three posts is based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview.
- Candidates must produce all original documents relating to educational qualification, date of birth, caste, and community at the time of the interview to be considered qualified.
- Candidates already in service must submit a No Objection Certificate from their current employer at the time of interview.

Selected candidates for all three posts will get pay as per the State University Pay Scales notified by the Government of Meghalaya.
