EMRS PGT Exam Pattern 2025
The EMRS PGT Recruitment 2025 follows a two-tier selection process to evaluate candidates’ academic knowledge, teaching aptitude, reasoning skills, and language proficiency. Tier-I is a preliminary qualifying exam in OMR (objective) mode, while Tier-II is the main subject knowledge examination that determines the final merit for PGT posts. Tier-I – Preliminary Examination (OMR Mode – Total 100 Marks)
- Purpose: Qualifying exam for shortlisting candidates for Tier-II.

- Language Competency (English & Hindi – qualifying in nature; minimum 40% marks)
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Candidates failing the language competency test will not have their Tier-I scores evaluated.
Tier-II – Subject Knowledge Examination
- Only candidates shortlisted from Tier-I (ratio 1:10 against vacancies) appear.
- Structure: Objective + Descriptive questions on the subject-specific syllabus.
- Marks & Duration: 100 marks, 3 hours
- Merit: Final selection for PGT posts is based entirely on Tier-II performance.

EMRS PGT Exam Pattern 2025 for Tier I
The EMRS PGT Tier-I examination 2025 is a preliminary qualifying test conducted in OMR (objective) mode to evaluate candidates on key skills essential for teaching roles.
