Central Government Going to Release 58000 Teaching Vacancies 

58000 Vacancies are available in the centre-run schools and universities across India. These vacancies included both teaching and non-teaching pots. This statement was made by Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar while answering a written question in Lok Sabha. Based on this information teaching aspirants in India can expect a massive recruitment drive conducted by the Government of India for various teaching and non-teaching post in the coming months.

Subhas Sarkar further clarified that these vacancies have arisen due to retirement, promotion, resignation and Additional requirements based on the upgradation or sanctioning of new streams as well as improvement and betterment of the strengths of students. The Minister of State for Education also emphasized that filling up vacancies is a continuous process and the Central Government is taking all the necessary efforts and steps to fill up the vacancies.

These recruitments will be completed as the provision of the relevant recruitment policies and rules concerned institutes and recruitment bodies.

According to the Minister of State for Education, there are 12,099 teaching posts and 1,312 non-teaching posts vacant in Kendriya Vidyalayas. 3,271 teaching posts are vacant in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Similarly, there are 6180 teaching posts and 15798 non-teaching posts at Central University, 4,425 teaching posts and 5,052 non-teaching posts in IITs, 2,089 teaching posts and 3,773 non-teaching posts in NITs & Indian Institutes of Engineering Science and Technology, 1,050 teaching and non-teaching posts in Indian Institutes of Management and so on.

Teaching aspirants can expect a massive recruitment drive for PRT, TGT and PGT posts in KVS and Nvs in the coming months. They can expect various recruitment notifications to be released for the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor for various Central Universities and Countries’ premier institutes such as IIT, IIM, NIT and so on.
